Tonight we spent the evening making making the caramel apples (the girls call them "candy apples"). We took about eight gala apples, dipped them in the Kraft caramel bits, and covered them in sprinkles, mini Reese's Pieces, and crushed toffee peanuts. Of course we sampled them all before giving the others away as gifts, and I've got to tell you that the toffee peanuts one was the best caramel apple I've ever had. Who knew something so simple could be SO good?!
